We're excited to share that Usk Valley Cheese Company will be featured in the next episode of ITV Wales' Coast & Country, airing on Friday 31st July at 7:00pm.
The programme follows the story of our Brie-style cheese, Blorenge, from the very beginning. Viewers will visit Josh's Jerseys to see their beautiful Jersey herd being milked before following the fresh milk to our micro-dairy in Cwmbran, where we transform it into our handcrafted cheese.
The episode also offers a behind-the-scenes look at our cheesemaking process and takes a peek inside our maturation room, where our Gouda-style cheeses are carefully aged to develop their flavour and character.
It was a real pleasure to welcome the Coast & Country team into our dairy and share a glimpse of what goes into making our cheeses. As a family-run business, we're passionate about showcasing the craftsmanship behind artisan cheesemaking and the importance of working with fantastic local producers such as Josh's Jerseys.
